It is gearing up to be a wonderful year in 2010, and we are excited to see what the new year will bring. However, for us to continue to push forward with our mission and to be able to meet our goals, we are asking all that can do so, to please make a monetary contribution to our cause, to be able to assist those individuals dealing with blindness and vision impairment issues.
We as a group of individuals have made a commitment by raising funds so that we may continue our mission, and any monetary contribution that you can make, is greatly appreciated. Proceeds will be used to raise funds for our chapter to assist young blind students attend college, help parents of blind children attend educational seminars, fund NEWSLINE so blind people can access newspapers at no charge via a standard telephone, provide specialized training for older vision impaired adults who are losing their vision, acquire knowledge in the use of adaptive devices and in general, enhance public awareness about the capabilities of blind people and more.
The Pinellas Chapter of the NFB is affiliated with the NFB of Florida, which is affiliated with the National Federation of the Blind head quartered in Baltimore Maryland.
The Pinellas Chapter of the NFB is a 501(C)(3) organization, and upon request can provide a receipt for your tax deductible donation.
